This appears to be a planter from the 50’s and 60’s. The swan motif and geometric background are characteristic of the time and housewives would commonly plant small house plants or succulents to add a touch of style to homes and gardens. Ceramic planters with this relief pattern and in pastels such as this soft, light green were also typical of the era’s design aesthetic. This is collectible for it’s retro charm and desirable just to add a bright spot to your home or gardens.
